Welcome to the Metropolitan Learning Institute, a growing, diverse and innovative post-secondary institution where students challenge ideas, get skills and become professional in their chosen fields.
HistoryMetropolitan Learning Institute is a private, non-profit organization that was first established in 1996. It went through the process of obtaining a New York State license to open a proprietary school in the State of New York in Queens, Forest Hills and eventually obtained a license to operate in November of 1999. In 2002, a second campus offering similar courses was opened at Rego Park, Queens and in March of 2006, a third branch was opened at Jackson Heights, also in Queens. In 2008 NYS approval was granted to move the Forest Hills location to Lower Manhattan.
