Metropolitan Learning Institute (New York) is licensed to operate by the New York State Education Department. The New Jersey Branch is approved to operate by the Department of Education and the Department of Labor and Workforce Development of the State of New Jersey and the New Jersey Board of Nursing

 

Metropolitan Learning Institute (MLI) currently carries a 6-year full-accreditation status obtained in 2004 with the Council of Occupational Education.

GRADING POLICY IN NEW YORK LOCATIONS

Passing Grades

A student's level of academic progress and class standing will be classified using the letter grades of "A" through "D" for courses successfully completed. Other grades are not evaluated as coursework successfully completed: "F" (fail), "I" (incomplete), "W" (withdrawal), and/or "U" (unofficial withdrawal/dismissal) fall into this category.

GRADES ASSIGNED AT THE COMPLETION OF A COURSE

The theory evaluation of student performance is based on the scores received on quizzes, long exams, homework assignments, group work, projects, student presentations, and other objective examinations. All scores earned are converted to percentage of total scores possible within each course, and the final grade will be determined by the percent ranges converted to the letter grade shown in the chart below.
